Before you book
Consent and intake
What we ask before a visit, and why. Read it first, answer it in the booking tool, and sign it at the studio.
Permanent makeup is drawn into the skin with a needle and stays there, so a visit starts on paper, not in the chair. These are the four things Kohl asks, in the order you meet them.
What we ask
Four steps, none of them hidden
- At booking
About you
Your name, a phone number or email, and how you'd like us to reach you. The booking tool asks at the moment you choose a time.
- At booking
Your age
You have to be 18 or older. The booking tool asks you to confirm it, and Hajar asks to see an ID on the day.
- At booking
Your health
A short list of yes or no questions about allergies, medicines, skin, eyes and pregnancy. The answers go to Hajar through the booking tool, never through this site's message form.
- At the studio
Your consent
On the day, before anything is drawn, you read the consent form with Hajar and sign it. You can stop at any point, including after you've signed.
When we ask you to wait
Some visits are better after a pause
If you're pregnant or nursing, we ask you to wait and book once that has passed. We also move a visit when something might get in the way of the work. If you aren't sure, ask your doctor first and tell us what they said.
We move the visit if you have
A rash, a sore or irritated skin near the area
A cold sore, for lip color
An eye that is red or sore, for eyeliner
A recent procedure on the eyes or lips

Questions before you decide?
Write or call and we'll go through any of it. You don't have to book to ask.
